My mom used to send me crazy articles and id send back fact checks and research. It took time but it felt like I made a difference. But one day I saw her email outbox and she’d still send her friends the same fake articles I fact checked. People from the right-wing cult don’t care about facts, they just want outrage and they’ll take it from whatever source will give it to them.
