Today I tried the easy route and instead of learning how to code in Java or Kotlin I tried creating an app with ChatGPT. Since the last time I used it for coding my discord music bot that was pretty straight foward I thought of using it to create a simple schedule app. I was clearly wrong because even though I am paying the subscription, after about 4 hours of trying to get it to work I got nothing. Every time I tried running the app I got tens if not hundreds of errors. I doubt it's because of me since I literally copy pasted each line it provided and everything should have worked fine. It's not because of my PC since it's pretty new and other apps work quite fine (I don't think Android Stuido is that demanding of the computer). In conclusion: The current ChatGPT is quite garbage in mobile app developing and you should learn to code apps by yourself.
