If the standard of living remains stagnant or continues to drop while inequality continues to further divide the top 2-3% from the bottom 97-98%, then it will continue to get worse.

Furthermore, you have multiple generations now who have been ignored politically for most of their life to this point, and there's numerous instances of people explicitly stating that they aren't having kids because they don't want to raise their children in \[what they view to be\] a dying planet. They have decided that instead of raising a new generation of kids in an increasingly inhospitable environment, they would rather make the most of their own life experiences.

1. Fix income inequality (to at least some degree) 2. Fix the declining standard of living problem 3. Treat the issue of climate change with actual respect and utilize real teeth.
