I wish streaming platforms shared more of their numbers.

My guess is due to the amount of them that most shows are under what people think on all platforms. They'd share the numbers if they were amazing guaranteed.

The lower numbers makes sense though as there are more options and so much competition for people, distractions are immense. The shows are also anchors, even if they don't make their money back on that show/movie, getting a subscriber for a long time may balance out. It is more about retaining the subscription with lots of good content than just the content itself.
