I am planning to pursue a masters in computational science, But I want to practice leetcode and learn some framework related to software development so that I can land a job if things don't go my way,

So I am confused since definitely my thesis and project would be ML oriented involving computational science

So I am not sure if they ask frameworks like pytorch / tensorflow for research positions? Or is project enough Since I would be dedicating my time to leetcode/learning software development frameworks(Java/springboot maybe, since python is only popular for prototyping/ and data science roles) I am not sure I will be getting time for kaggle and learning pytorch and all in depth?

What would you guys recommend? Any insight/ suggestion is appreciated
