Hi all!
New to the world of trying to use chatGPT for work, and having trouble getting it to do what I'm looking for. Given the excitement it gets, I assume I just don't know how to use it right?
In short, I'm giving it (GPT-4o) an excel doc that has a list of people and links to their unique public bio pages from the company. I want chat GPT first to go through each public bio page and list every project/committee that person is listed as being on, so that I can add that to the excel sheet without doing it manually myself (there's over 100 people). I figured this would be easy, but it keeps only including some of the projects/committees they're on, and missing others, or even putting in wrong ones, even though it says (and I've told it to) only pull data from the links I've given.
Then, and this is more ambitious, but I want it to then go through their bio pages again and go though the list of contributions that each person has made to their committees (it lists things like the way they voted on certain things), and flag any that could be related or relevant to a particular issue (e.g. "air transport regulation") for later human review.
I have no idea if this is the type of problem chatgpt is well-suited to solve, but since I'm a newbie to this stuff, I thought I'd ask for help from the more adapt. Any ideas welcome!
