Page 76 of the PDF (page 893 of the transcript) Blanche said:

You will hear that he told people that he served as President Trump's personal attorney. You will hear that he did legal work for President Trump and the First Lady as his personal attorney.".

So, sure, if it was legal fees... what legal fees? What exactly where they? Of course there would be *some* sort of a trail because legal work usually is very documented... that if it wasn't for a retainer what was the money for, exactly.

That's the thing when there's no paper or other trail that Trump and the mob uses. It's hard to pin any guilt on the mob boss - but also doesn't provide any defense either.

It's plausible deniability with the mix of willful ignorance that works but no longer easy to do in a digital day.
