The people will concede. The average person values their own life and values continuing their life as it was regardless of ruling nation. If America got invaded and lost and was now called The United States of Russia, majority of the people would continue living under the USR as they were before because they value living a normal life rather than fighting to the death over a government. As long as the new government isnt overbearing most would be tolerant.

This has been seen historically. Sure they might be grumpy and disagree but are all the citizens going to pick up an AK and get blasting? no. Sure militias and rebellions will form, but on a purely population basis, most would not fight without being conscripted. WW2 for example, most fighters were draftees rather than volunteers, despite the "I COULDNT WAIT TO ENLIST" narrative.

Americas occupation of Afghanistan is not comparable. It was not expansionist. We removed a terrorist organization that was running the country then gave the country back. Is this what you think Russia plans to do?

And I said "at this rate". its true. Are you going to argue that in 2 years Russia DIDN'T take all of Crimea and around \~20% of Ukraine? all while having a bigger military now than at the start of the invasion?

You clearly have me pegged for an anti-Ukrainian republican which is the opposite of I am. We should have been sending weapons like crazy since 2014. Hell, even Zelensky makes claims about the lack of weapons damn near every day because of how shitty we have been in providing them along with the restrictions in place on them.

When I say WILL WIN I am not some shill that hates Ukraine. I am looking at a few things such as:

1. Russia has a much much greater populace to pull and conscript from. Ukraine runs out of troops every time before Russia does.

2. Russia has much higher production of weapons than Ukraine. Even looking at NATO, Russia is currently producing around 3x the amount of shells of all NATO combined.

3. Ukrainians morale is much worse than Russians. To the average Ukrainian war is all around them, air raid sirens going off, cruise missiles hitting, and those that arent in active conflict areas are seeing the backline war efforts/logistics in full force. Meanwhile in Russia most Russians have not seen any effect personally in their day to day life.

At some point you have to accept that the good guys that we root for are not super soldiers that can destroy any massive military power that comes its way. They have done an exceptional job since the beginning but seriously how long can they manage?
