Sometimes it feels like everyone is saying it’s entirely based on economic issues like housing/col/etc. what about the social aspect. I’m a dad and it feels like among my peer parents, it seems like some trends are: 1. Be more involved with fewer kids, so splitting time less. 2. Be able to do more things like travel or vacation easier. 3. Not have older kids raise younger kids. Let the teenagers be teenagers. 4. Start later but not necessarily because of finances. A lot of couples don’t settle down together till later and I definitely was not interested in having kids in my twenties at all.
