I'm not even talking about the live translation demo. The GPT-4o text-engine itself can translation between any language with accuracy that is unparalleled and almost human-like. It's a few levels above google-translate which is literally trash by comparison. This is a BIG improvement compared to the previous GPT-4 engine.

It "even" conserved grammatical information between two non-english languages, like gender (which google translates fails to do) and is familiar with specific dialects that you cannot even select in google translate.

I tried a chunk of text from a short story, and the resulting text was not only intelligible and correct, it was almost good enough to print.

Someone needs to make a chrome extension so I can participate in non-english-speaking forums and read resources from all across the world.
