That's an odd comparison- measuring Reagans first term versus Biden after his party lost the House.

The problem as I see it for Biden is that inflation ran so incredibly hot for a year or two that inflation ran so hot for years under his party's control that its hard for him to pin it on anyone else. Reagan came into office with stagflation just destroying the country and just had to ride it out while Volker did the heavy lifting.
