I've seen more and more posts about accounts being suspended while trying to move bitcoin from CB to a cold wallet.

Has anyone found a way around this?

Should I sell on CB, close the account, then re-purchase BTC on another exchange and then transfer BTC to a cold wallet?

The fees seem to be worth the hassle in some cases. I can't imagine getting locked out of my CB account for months.
