Of course there are studies on both sides, but I don't really remember seeing studies with good data identification strategies finding negative effect of lower taxes on taxable income. They can be very small or even zero, but I don't see marginal taxes of 90 pct. boosting economic activity in isolation. All the studies you look to be correlation studies without a clear identification strategy. These kinds of studies have been kind of outdated in academia for a while it seems to me. It is close to impossible to isolate the effect of taxes in those kinds of studies as growth is much more affected by demographic, financial markets and business cycles than marginal tax rates.
Also as mentioned other places in the thread, billionaires are likely not paying a substantial amount of income taxes. Generally people in the very top have their income from stocks are capital which are taxed differently. So using the top marginal tax rate on income as the main explanatory variable of growth must have a lot of caveats.
The long run structural effects of tax cuts come with a lag while these studies compare growth and taxes in the same year. Just looking at the taxes and GDP in a given year is not a good argument for a causal relationship that higher taxes causes growth.
