It's funny to me that people see falling birth rates as a "problem" when we cannot seem to get our shit together as decent leaders and actually make life a little easier to live. Free healthcare. Access to food. Access to shelter. None of these things are guaranteed to future parents. Why should they even \*want\* to create a family when minimum wage in the U.S. is literally $7.25 an hour before taxes? We make life unnecessarily brutal for people living in the U.S.
