For most of Vietnam too, but when Nixon started trying to assert control in specific ways to help his campaign like classifying standard operations as top secret and dropping bombs in unoccupied or surrounding countries to say he was doing more bombing they stopped providing warnings.
Since then warnings are irregular rather than standard procedure. Drone strikes don’t get warnings and have largely replaced proper bombing, so the practice is moot today.
