Related to the previous comment, yes quantum machine learning is still very new. There is no state-of-the-art quantum circuit or algorithm that can perform the same function as a SVM. I'm not doubting that it will exist, but there are no benchmarks to compare the two distinct models. You could start by learning some basic quantum circuit algorithms for machine learning. There is very good literature.
