OP literally says “I do a bit of degenerate gambling with my own play money (made $1200 on a $250 AMC call last week)”

Of course online, OP will say he’ll invest it wisely but he’ll get tempted by the ne t hot stock, like AMC. OP mindset is clearly I can do it better myself, blue chips are trash and brags about gambling on meme stocks.

I’ve honestly seen this 50+ times in my career. It’ll end terribly and OP will wish he just stayed with tried and true. Maybe he’ll post a “look at my losses, I goofed” but mostly likely will try to validate his bad decision. Meanwhile rich will get richer with the experienced FA.

“Bad quarter” are you serious after 30 years. Even the best mgr’s have years of underperformance.
