I mean, on one hand the environment and investment thesis of a brand new thing a decade ago is very different than that thing today. But also, I think a lot of the crypto crowd misinterprets "I'm offering an ETF doing this thing" as an endorsement of that thing. Most of these guys aren't spending time telling you that you should or should not buy something, they're just structuring product that fulfill a demand so they can make money from said demand.
