I don't expect them to roll it out at any specific time. I'm just confused about the fact that they've already rolled it out, and I am able to use it, but for some reason it only does text.

It's like if they made a new revolutionary kind of vehicle, and said "This car doesn't have separate components. It's just ONE single object.
