I got into all these crypto’s and Bitcoin 2-3 years ago more to educate myself on what all of this was about and I’ve invested a lot of my time trying to understand this and in the end I stepped away for many reasons.

The moment I got into it one of the first things I noticed was Bitcoin or yet the entire crypto industry correlated with S&P 500 or NASDAQ… When I mentioned this on many forums couple years ago all I got in response back was “nO It DoEsNT” now today more and more are admitting that it is. I guess this is because of their content creators told them so or the teenagers got old enough to understand the comparison.

Today the argument Bitcoin is digital gold but it trades identically as a technology company not as a hedge, valuable material that BTC followers believe it is. When the follower can’t grasp that then it becomes overdramatize such as democratizing energy while downplaying exactly how much energy is being required to sustain the blockchain. In theory this is a waste maybe one of the most wasteful for consumption, then they bring up the military as a comparison for the U.S. dollar security. It’s childish and irresponsible and might I say disrespectful, when the entire purpose of the military is to actually protect your rights, life and balance for the world order otherwise we’d be living under a Nazi regime. It’s always something to stay relevant on the internet and hype the cycles, always. The BS doesn’t stop.

They brag about Bitcoin as the most valuable asset when essentially all the miners run out of funds for operation to continue mining and keep up energy demand. This alone is hypocritical because first this was about hedge against inflation and the dooms sayers about greed and the printing of money meanwhile the miners alone have to loan billions in US dollars which inflates the currency the very thing hedge against.

My two cents is when technology companies incentivizes / democratizes business models such as renewable energy and selling back to the grid in a way that actually conserves energy for the world and not a blockchain something like what Tesla is doing which probably could single-handedly end BTC through incentives and government programs back to the consumers pockets this is when I feel like this will be the end for it.
